BonkBox

Bits, redeems, subs, follows, raids and chat commands launch objects that arc across your stream and hit you — screen shake, a burst of debris, and a thud you can feel.

No integration. No API. No plugin. It's a browser source and it works over whatever you already use as an avatar.

It works with your setup

PNGTuber Plus. veadotube. PNGTubeRemix. Reactive. Inochi Session. A static PNG. A webcam. A 3D model. A cardboard sign with your name on it.

The reaction is drawn on the overlay itself, so there's nothing to connect and nothing to break. If your avatar shows up in OBS, BonkBox works over it.

And if you use veadotube, your avatar reacts too — a real state change on impact, layered over your lipsync so it doesn't fight your talking. That's the bit VTube Studio users have had for years and the rest of us haven't.

Set it up in about two minutes

1. Run BonkBox. A window opens with one address in it.
2. Paste that into an OBS or Streamlabs Browser Source, above your avatar.
3. Type your channel name, hit Sign in with Twitch, approve it.

That's it. No app to register, no token to paste, no config files. Drag the target box over your avatar and press Storm 200 to watch what a raid looks like.

Built to be light

The overlay stops rendering entirely when nothing's on screen. Not throttled, not idling — it stops. Idle CPU is genuinely zero, which matters when you're already running a game, OBS and an avatar app on the same machine.

It's one HTML file. No install, no runtime, no dependencies, no launcher.

Throw whatever you like

Six sprites are drawn in from the start — skulls, bricks, tomatoes, cans, hearts, stars — so there's something to throw before you've configured anything. Add your own images and they're stored inside your settings, not in a folder you'll lose.

Honest notes

Windows will warn you the first time. BonkBox isn't code-signed — that costs a subscription and this is a small tool. Click More info → Run anyway. veadotube mini is unsigned too, so you've already done this once today. A SHA-256 checksum is published with every release if you want to verify the download. You can also skip the app entirely and use just the overlay file, which triggers no warning at all.

veadotube needs two avatar states. A flinch switches your avatar to a hit state — if your model only has one, it switches to the one already showing and nothing appears to happen. Make a squashed or startled version first. BonkBox tells you if it only finds one.

Windows only for the helper app. The overlay itself runs anywhere; the helper's auto-detection and hotkeys are Windows-tested only.
